James Anderson has conceded that he would "love" to be given the opportunity to represent England in the limited overs format of the game again.
The country's leading Test wicket-taker of all time made the last of his one-day international appearances in March 2015, while he has not played a Twenty20 game since 2009.
However, even at the age of 33, the bowler has said that he is eager to make a return to shorter matches.
"I have not spoken to the coach about that sort of thing for a while. The progression of the one-day side and Twenty20 side has been fantastic over the last 12 months," he told BBC Sport.
"If they think I can help that along, that's great. I'd love to have another chance of playing 50-over or Twenty20 cricket."
Anderson is expected to be in the Test squad for this summer's clashes against Sri Lanka and Pakistan.
