AC Milan have kept their hopes of qualification from Group C of the Champions League with a 1-1 draw at home against Malaga.
The Rossoneri struggled to find a clear way through the Spanish outfit in the first half and were reduced to long-range efforts having seen most of their attempts blocked by a well-organised defence.
The visitors went ahead five minutes before half-time when Isco set Eliseu free and the Brazilian slotted past Wilfredo Caballero.
Massimiliano Allegri's men continued to press their opponents in the second half, looking for an equaliser. It eventually came through Alexandre Pato, who headed home from Kevin Constant's centre.
Kevin Prince-Boateng was twice frustrated in the closing stages, but both teams settled for a point.
The result leaves Malaga top on 10 points, while Milan trail second with five points.
