AC Milan hosts Sampdoria in Serie A this weekend with both sides hoping to reverse their fortunes.

The hosts lie in 12th place with just one league win to their name, and needed a last-gasp equaliser from Ignazio Abate to salvage a point against Bologna midweek.

Sampdoria have fared even worse, losing three and drawing two of their five league games so far, with all of their points earned on the road.

They go into the match in 18th place, one point behind Atalanta BC and Bologna above them.
