A.C. Milan have kept the pressure on Serie A leaders Juventus with a 4-0 win at home to Chievo.
The Rossoneri took the lead after eight minutes when Thiago Silva swept the ball home from the edge of the are after Chievo had failed to clear a corner.
Milan's lead was doubled on 15 minutes when Zlatan Ibrahimovic expertly lifted the ball over visiting goalkeeper Stefano Sorrentino to score his 100th Serie A goal.
In an opening half which the hosts dominated, they extended their lead on 33 minutes after Alberto Aquilani's deflected shot fell into the path of Alexandre Pato, who tapped in.
The game was effectively over at half-time as Ibrahimovic grabbed his second of the match from the penalty spot following Luciano's foul on Pato.
The hosts comfortably controlled the match after the interval, with good chances falling for Pato and substitute Robinho, but they were unable to add to their tally.
Milan have now moved into second in the Serie A table, one point behind Juventus.
