AC Milan are reportedly preparing to replace coach Clarence Seedorf with Filippo Inzaghi.
The Dutchman was only appointed in January, but the Rossoneri eventually finished a distant eighth in Serie A.
According to Goal.com, the Milan hierarchy are ready to sack Seedorf and employ his former teammate Inzaghi, after a meeting on Monday.
Sevilla coach Unai Emery was said to be high on the shortlist if potential new bosses, but Milan feel that the Europa League-winning boss is too costly to employ and have now turned to former striker Inzaghi.
