AC Milan head coach Clarence Seedorf has insisted that Keisuke Honda will be able to produce his best at the World Cup this summer.
Despite struggling to find top form since moving to the club from CSKA Moscow in January, Seedorf believes that Honda can be counted on to deliver for Japan in Brazil after seeing the 27-year-old impress in the 2-0 win over Fiorentina on Wednesday.
"Japan should have no doubts about Honda," the Milan coach told reporters. "He's a great player and he's adapting to the Italian game.
"He played a great game and got up and down the pitch well."
Honda has scored 20 goals in 53 appearances for Japan.
