Sports Mole rounds up all of Arsenal's injury and suspension news ahead of Wednesday's Champions League clash with Inter Milan.
Sports Mole

Enduring a rough three-game winless streak in the Premier League, Arsenal have some wrongs to right in Wednesday's tantalising Champions League clash with Inter Milan at San Siro.

Mikel Arteta's toothless troops were deservedly beaten 1-0 by Newcastle United on Saturday lunchtime, where an Alexander Isak header made the difference in the first half.

Taking just one point from the last nine on offer in the top flight, the Gunners have at least made an unbeaten start to the 2024-25 Champions League, edging out Shakhtar Donetsk 1-0 on matchday three to sit ninth in the rankings.

Here, Sports Mole rounds up all of Arsenal's latest injury and suspension news ahead of their clash with the Nerazzurri, who also have seven points to show from their opening three European contests this term.

Riccardo Calafiori

Status: Out
Type of injury: Knee
Possible return date: November 26 (vs. Sporting Lisbon)

Arsenal's triumph over Shakhtar on matchday three came at a cost, as Riccardo Calafiori suffered a knee injury on the night, and the Italian will not be back this side of the international break.

Martin Odegaard

Status: Minor doubt
Type of injury: Ankle
Possible return date: November 6 (vs. Inter Milan)

Martin Odegaard's absence against Newcastle was well and truly felt, but reports last week claimed that he is targeting a return from his ankle injury at San Siro; true enough, he has made the trip and is pushing to make his comeback in midweek.

Declan Rice

Status: Out
Type of injury: Unspecified
Possible return date: November 10 (vs. Chelsea)

Declan Rice did not make the flight to Milan due to an unspecified issue he picked up in the Newcastle loss, and the Englishman is also a doubt for the imminent showdown with Chelsea this weekend.

Takehiro Tomiyasu

Status: Out
Type of injury: Knee
Possible return date: November 23 (vs. Nottingham Forest)

One player who will definitely not be seen in Milan, Takehiro Tomiyasu suffered a setback immediately after recovering from a previous knee injury, and he will not return this side of the international break.

Kieran Tierney

Status: Out
Type of injury: Hamstring
Possible return date: November 23 (vs. Nottingham Forest)

Kieran Tierney - yet to play a single minute this season - is making steady progress in his recovery from a hamstring injury, and there is a chance that he will make his first appearance of the campaign before the end of the month.

ARSENAL'S SUSPENSION LIST

Arsenal have no players banned for this match.
