Cohen Bramall has claimed that Arsenal manager Unai Emery never made an effort to hold a conversation with him during his time at the North London outfit.
Arsenal completed the surprise signing of Bramall from Hednesford Town in January 2017 after Arsene Wenger had been left impressed with the potential of the left-sided player.
Wenger ended his long-term association with the Gunners last summer, however, as Bramall finished his season-long loan period with Birmingham City.
The 23-year-old was released by Arsenal earlier this week, but the pacey wideman says that he has departed the Premier League club without ever having spoken with Emery.
The 23-year-old told Goal.com: "When Arsene left it changed the whole thing for me, I'm gutted that he left. When Unai came in I was hoping to train across with the first team but I didn't really get that opportunity.
"I didn't have a conversation with Unai at all. That's the thing. I didn't have a conversation with him once. It was probably difficult for him because I'm guessing he was told I didn't have the best of loans at Birmingham, so he just binned me off.
"And when I did get told to go over there and train, it was at the last minute. That's the thing that upset me a bit because I didn't get the chance to show Unai what I could do, like I did with Arsene."
Bramall was restricted to appearances for Arsenal Under-23s this season.
