Brighton vs. Liverpool (Sunday, 2.00pm)

Fresh from gleaning their first-ever point in European football, Brighton & Hove Albion resume Premier League duty at home to fellow Europa League challengers Liverpool at the Amex Stadium on Sunday.

The Seagulls rallied from 2-0 down to hold Marseille to a 2-2 draw in midweek, while their Merseyside counterparts concluded a troubling period by seeing off Union SG 2-0.

We say: Brighton & Hove Albion 1-3 Liverpool

Jellied legs from their Europa League exploits will hit both teams hard this weekend, although Brighton may be feeling the effects to a greater degree given their taxing journey home from Marseille, while Liverpool were able to rest a few more big names on their own turf.

Goals have been a guarantee whenever these two sides have stepped out onto the field this term, but while Brighton subjected Liverpool to two Amex beatings earlier in 2023, the hosts' severe defensive deficiencies should see the Reds exact revenge.

Our tipster partners are predicting over 2.5 goals.

West Ham vs. Newcastle (Sunday, 2.00pm)

Having both come up trumps in their midweek European contests - albeit with the visitors triumphing in far more remarkable circumstances - West Ham United and Newcastle United turn their attention back to the Premier League on Sunday with a clash at the London Stadium.

David Moyes's men made it two wins from two in the Europa League with a 2-1 success over Freiburg, while Newcastle ripped French champions Paris Saint-Germain to shreds in a 4-1 Champions League drubbing.

We say: West Ham United 1-3 Newcastle United

Even with concerns lingering over Antonio's availability, West Ham's golden touch in front of goal at the London Stadium should not be snapped on Sunday, but any Hammers joy should be short-lived.

Howe's men will have had an extra day to recover from their European exertions, while West Ham's long flight home from Germany will also hamper their preparations for the visit of the Magpies, who should stretch their winning sequence to five games in the English capital.

Our tipster partners are predicting over 2.5 goals.

Wolves vs. Aston Villa (Sunday, 2.00pm)

On the back of a breathtaking finale to their Europa Conference League tie with Zrinjski Mostar, Aston Villa make the short journey to Molineux to take on Wolverhampton Wanderers in Sunday's Premier League West Midlands derby.

While Unai Emery's men are revelling in their late, late continental triumph, Wolves are also on cloud nine courtesy of ending Manchester City's perfect start to the season last weekend.

We say: Wolverhampton Wanderers 1-2 Aston Villa

With midweek fatigue setting in and fitness concerns lingering over a couple of key players, there will be no repeat of Villa's astonishing demolition of Brighton in a fixture that they have struggled to perform in since fans returned to stadiums.

In contrast, a jubilant Wolves side working with a lengthy recuperation period can feel hopeful of prolonging their purple patch against their West Midlands rivals, but with O'Neil's team still far from watertight defensively, Villa's returning big-hitters can take advantage to propel the Lions to a fourth Premier League win on the bounce.

Our tipster partners are predicting over 2.5 goals.

Arsenal vs. Man City (Sunday, 4.30pm)

Fans will flock to the Emirates Stadium for Sunday's standout Premier League contest, as Arsenal welcome champions Manchester City to their North London headquarters.

Both sides took to the Champions League stage away from home in midweek, as the Gunners were bested 2-1 by Lens, while the Citizens left it late to overcome RB Leipzig 3-1.

We say: Arsenal 1-2 Manchester City

Coming up against a City side without their two midfield maestros in Rodri and De Bruyne would ostensibly give Arsenal a wonderful opportunity to break their Premier League curse against the champions, but Saka's likely absence may now see the home crowd travel to the Emirates in hope rather than expectation.

Without the Englishman on the field against Lens, Arteta's men looked bereft of ideas in the final third, and repeated failures to keep the back door closed at home should see Guardiola avenge August's Community Shield beating and get one over his former protege once again.

Our tipster partners are predicting over 2.5 goals.
