Aston Villa captain Jack Grealish is likely to be fit for his side's visit to Leicester City in the Premier League next Monday.
The 24-year-old seemed to be playing through the pain barrier during the closing stages of Villa's 2-1 loss to Manchester City in Sunday's EFL Cup final.
However, Dean Smith's club have told Sky Sports News that Grealish was simply suffering from cramp and will resume training as normal on Tuesday.
Speculation has been rife surrounding the future of the Englishman, who is reportedly firmly on the radar of Manchester United should he decide to leave Villa Park come the end of the season.
The Claret and Blue currently sit 19th in the table, although Grealish has impressed with seven goals and six assists in 25 league appearances this term.
