Raul Garcia tried to drill the ball in from outside the box, but his finish was high and wide of the target.

Atletico had a good chance to edge ahead on the half-hour mark when Koke was brought down out wide. The midfielder curled in for Godin, but Jordi Cordina managed to stop the ball with his legs.

Costa continued to provide a threat, but Rafa Lopez blocked his attempt as he tried to curl the ball into the bottom corner.

The visitors made their superior possession count just before the break when Gabi passed the ball in for Godin to head past Codina.
