Augsburg have recorded their second win of the season this afternoon thanks to a goal in the final few minutes from Kevin Vogt at Nuremburg.
The visitors made a bright start at the Grundig Stadion, with Sascha Molders just failing to meet a deep cross at the far post in the first minute of the match.
Andre Hahn then had a header on target before Halil Altintop also went close with a header, which drifted just beyond the post.
Nuremburg continued to struggle in possession in the second half and were reduced to 10 men with 14 minutes left to play, when Javier Pinola got a second yellow card for a late challenge on Paul Verhaegh.
Augsburg were quick to make that extra man count and finally broke the deadlock when Vogt turned home on the rebound after Tobias Werner's strike had come back off the post.
