Barcelona will be bidding to secure a first-leg advantage when they head to Paris on Tuesday evening for their Champions League quarter-final with Paris Saint-Germain.

The Catalan outfit were last in action on March 30, beating Las Palmas 1-0 in La Liga, and they will be eyeing a fifth straight victory in all competitions in the first leg of their last-eight affair.

Xavi's side are unbeaten in all competitions since the end of January, and they overcame Napoli in the last-16 stage of the tournament, recording a 4-2 aggregate success.

Here, Sports Mole rounds up Barcelona's latest injury and suspension news ahead of the contest with PSG, who drew 1-1 with Clermont in France's top flight on Saturday.

Frenkie de Jong

Status: Minor doubt
Type of injury: Ankle
Possible return date: April 10 (vs. PSG)

De Jong sustained a lateral ligament sprain in his right ankle in the clash with Athletic Bilbao on March 3, but the Netherlands international has a strong chance of being back in the squad for this game, having trained with his teammates on Saturday.

Pedri

Status: Major doubt
Type of injury: Thigh
Possible return date: April 10 (vs. PSG)

Pedri suffered another hamstring issue against Athletic at the start of March, and the midfielder is a major doubt for this contest, but he is yet to be officially ruled out, as he trained for half of Saturday's main session.

Gavi

Status: Out
Type of injury: Knee
Possible return date: Unknown

Gavi sustained an ACL injury while representing Spain towards the end of last year, and the midfielder will not be available for selection until the 2024-25 campaign.

Alejandro Balde

Status: Out
Type of injury: Hamstring
Possible return date: Unknown

Balde underwent a hamstring operation at the end of January, and the Spain international will also be unavailable for selection until the 2024-25 campaign.

Andreas Christensen

Status: Minor doubt
Type of injury: Achilles
Possible return date: April 10 (vs. PSG)

Christensen again missed out against Las Palmas last time out due to an Achilles problem, but the Denmark international is in line to return to the squad against PSG.

BARCELONA'S SUSPENSION LIST

Barcelona have no suspended players for this match, but Ronald Araujo, Christensen, De Jong, Lamine Yamal, Ferran Torres, Joao Felix and Sergi Roberto are a booking away from missing the second leg.
