Barcelona attacker Ansu Fati was unable to train with the first team on Wednesday, with the Spaniard facing an uphill battle to be available for next week's Champions League clash against Bayern Munich.
The 19-year-old has been sidelined since the start of the month, having picked up a hamstring problem in the 3-3 draw with Celta Vigo on November 6.
A recent report claimed that Fati was winning his fight to be available for the key European contest, with Barcelona looking to finish second in Group E behind already-qualified Bayern.
However, according to Marca, after being forced to miss training on Wednesday, Fati is a major doubt for the match against the Bundesliga champions.
The Spaniard has scored 17 goals and registered six assists in 51 appearances for Barcelona in all competitions, including four goals in eight outings this term after working his way back from a long-term knee problem.
Xavi's team will be looking to make it three league victories in a row when they welcome Real Betis to Camp Nou on Saturday afternoon.
