Sports Mole rounds up all of Barcelona's latest injury and suspension news ahead of Monday's La Liga clash with Granada.
Sports Mole

Barcelona will be looking to bounce back from their three-goal loss to Bayern Munich when they continue their 2021-22 La Liga campaign at home to Granada on Monday night.

The Catalan giants suffered a 3-0 defeat to Bayern in their Champions League group-stage opener on Tuesday night, but Ronald Koeman's side have made an encouraging start to their domestic campaign.

A total of seven points from three matches has left them in seventh spot in the table, and Monday's contest will represent their first game in Spain's top flight since the end of August.

Here, Sports Mole rounds up all of Barcelona's injury and suspension news ahead of their clash with Granada, who have picked up just two points from four matches this term.

Sergio Aguero

Status: Out
Type of injury: Calf
Possible return date: Unknown

Barcelona will be without the services of new signing Aguero once again due to a calf problem, and the Argentine is not expected to be available for selection until at least the end of October.

Ousmane Dembele

Status: Out
Type of injury: Knee
Possible return date: Unknown

Dembele was forced to undergo knee surgery due to the injury that he picked up while representing France at Euro 2020, and the attacker will be on the sidelines until the latter stages of the year.

Ansu Fati

Status: Out
Type of injury: Knee
Possible return date: Unknown

Fati has returned to light training for Barcelona after a serious knee injury, but the Spain international will not be available for this contest, and it is unclear when he might be cleared to make his first-team return.

Martin Braithwaite

Status: Out
Type of injury: Knee
Possible return date: Unknown

Martin Braithwaite could be out for up to four months due to the knee problem that he suffered against Getafe before the international break, with the forward set to undergo an operation.

Jordi Alba

Status: Major doubt
Type of injury: Hamstring
Possible return date: September 20 (vs. Granada)

Jordi Alba pulled up with a hamstring problem in the second half of Barcelona's defeat to Bayern, which led to his substitution, and the defender is therefore a major doubt for the clash with Granada.

Pedri

Status: Out
Type of injury: Thigh
Possible return date: Unknown

Teenage midfielder Pedri is facing a period on the sidelines due to the thigh problem that he suffered during the three-goal loss to Bayern in the Champions League.

BARCELONA'S SUSPENSION LIST

Barcelona have no players suspended for this match.
