Bayern Munich coach Pep Guardiola was satisfied with his new club's 2-0 pre-season victory over his former side Barcelona on Wednesday night.
Guardiola said that beating a side with the quality of Barca will set up Bayern well for the upcoming German Super Cup against Borussia Dortmund on Saturday.
"It was a good preparation for Borussia Dortmund," Sky Sports News quotes Guardiola as saying.
"Barcelona are always a good team and they were a good test for us. We had our chances and we have to improve our finishing."
Bayern beat Dortmund in the Champions League final in May.
