Barcelona will have new signings Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and Adama Traore available for Sunday's La Liga contest with Atletico Madrid at Camp Nou.
The January arrivals have gone straight into the squad for this weekend's match, but it would not be a surprise to see both players start on the bench, having only just made the move to the club.
The home side will be missing Clement Lenglet, Samuel Umtiti, Ansu Fati, Sergi Roberto, Eric Garcia and Alejandro Balde through injury, while Memphis Depay is also out due to a muscular issue.
Gavi missed the 1-0 win over Alaves before the break through suspension, but the Spain international is available here and could be handed a starting role in a forward area.
Ferran Torres should retain his spot on the right of the attack, while it would not be a surprise to see on-loan striker Luuk de Jong keep his position, as the 31-year-old has netted in three of his last four appearances.
Ronald Araujo, who continues to be linked with a move away from the club, should feature alongside Gerard Pique in the middle of the defence.
Meanwhile, Dani Alves could get the nod over Sergino Dest at right-back, with Jordi Alba and Sergio Busquets also set to feature in the starting XI.
Xavi also has the option of starting Gavi and Pedri alongside Busquets in midfield, dropping Frenkie de Jong to the bench in the process, if he decides that either Traore or Aubameyang deserve a start.
Ousmane Dembele has remained at the club despite being strongly linked with a January exit, and the France international is back in the squad for this match.
Barcelona possible starting lineup: Ter Stegen; Alves, Araujo, Pique, Alba; F de Jong, Busquets, Pedri; Torres, L de Jong, Gavi
