Ronald Koeman is reportedly not in any immediate danger of being sacked as Barcelona boss despite the recent speculation surrounding the Dutchman.
The 58-year-old has overseen a solid start to the 2021-22 La Liga season, with the Catalan giants, who finished third in Spain's top flight last term, collecting seven points from three matches.
Barcelona suffered a 3-0 home defeat to Bayern Munich in their Champions League group-stage opener on Tuesday, though, which led to speculation surrounding Koeman's future.
A recent report claimed that club president Joan Laporta would consider a change of manager if the team slipped up in any of their next three La Liga matches against Granada, Cadiz or Levante.
However, according to Marca, Laporta is not planning to sack Koeman 'suddenly', as there is no obvious replacement available, while the club cannot afford to pay the Dutchman off amid their financial issues.
Barcelona, as mentioned, now have three league matches in a row before resuming their Champions League Group E challenge away to Benfica on September 29. body check tags ::
