Harry Kane will be hoping to bag his fifth Champions League goal of the 2024-25 campaign when Bayern Munich travel to Aston Villa on Wednesday night.
The England legend netted four times on gameweek one of this season's competition a fortnight ago, when the Bavarians proved too strong for Croatian champions Dinamo Zagreb at Allianz Arena, resulting in a record-breaking 9-2 victory.
Since then, Kane has featured twice in the Bundesliga for Vincent Kompany's troops, providing two assists and a goal in the 5-0 thumping of Werder Bremen on September 21.
There was a slight injury concern for the 31-year-old on Saturday evening as he was forced off in the closing moments of the draw at German champions Bayer Leverkusen due to a knock, however Bayern are hoping that their talisman will be available to feature at Villa Park.
Ahead of Wednesday's tasty-looking Champions League battle, Sports Mole takes a closer look at Kane's record against Aston Villa.

Since rising through the youth ranks of Tottenham Hotspur and onto the main stage of club football, Kane has faced Aston Villa in 13 competitive matches, with 12 of those arriving in the Premier League alongside one clash in the early rounds of the EFL Cup.
The 31-year-old normally comes out on top of contests against the Villans, winning nine and losing four of those 13 games, with the England legend yet to play out a share of the spoils with the Second City outfit.
Kane's first-ever appearance against Villa arrived in the third round of the EFL Cup in September 2013, when despite the striker failing to find the net, Andre Villas-Boas's troops enjoyed a 4-0 success, with Jermain Defoe bagging a brilliant brace at Villa Park.
Replacing Emmanuel Adebayor in the second half of a Premier League match in November 2014, Kane netted a memorable winner for the Lilywhites in Birmingham, with his deflected free kick getting the better of goalkeeper Brad Guzan.
The attacker's maiden loss against Villa arrived later in the 2014-15 campaign as Christian Benteke netted the only goal of the game at White Hart Lane on April 11, helping the Villans to three points which were crucial in their quest for top-flight safety.
The first of two Kane braces versus the Villans occurred at Villa Park during the 2015-16 term, when the prolific marksman was assisted twice by former England international Dele Alli.
Both of Kane's assists against the Second City outfit were conjured up in Tottenham's 4-0 thrashing of Villa in the 2021-22 season, with Dejan Kulusevski and Heung-min Son the beneficiaries.
England's all-time leading goalscorer struggled against Villa during his final campaign in North London, losing both Premier League clashes with the Villans in 2022-23.
