Bayern Munich head coach Pep Guardiola has insisted that his side will give full "respect" to CSKA Moscow when the two teams meet in the Champions League tomorrow night.
On matchday one, CSKA suffered a heavy 5-1 defeat at the hands of Roma, while Bayern recorded a 1-0 home victory over Manchester City.
However, despite the fact that Bayern are the big favourites to win the encounter in Russia, Guardiola has claimed that his players will not be taking their opponents lightly.
"They have a good coach and have almost the same players who were with them last season. The club needs to be respected no matter what, even despite their result in Rome. This is a very difficult opponent and we will respect them fully," Guardiola told reporters.
The two sides met twice in last season's group stages, with Bayern winning both encounters.
