Arjen Robben has said that he "desperately" wants to play for Bayern Munich against Arsenal in their last-16 Champions League meeting on Tuesday.
The Dutch winger was left on the bench for the Bundesliga match at Wolfsburg on Friday but came on and scored the second as Bayern came through 2-0.
Despite the goal, Robben was unhappy at being left out and is now looking to Tuesday.
"I hope that I play," he said. "But then I've had this hope many times before.
"I desperately want to play because these are the top games and I don't see any reason why I shouldn't play.
"I don't want to say too much about it. The coach knows what I think, but I am a professional and we need peace and quiet and I will discuss all the rest internally."
Munich are now 18 points clear at the Bundesliga summit.
