Wolfsburg hosted Bundesliga leaders Bayern Munich on Friday evening, looking the end the visitors' run of 12 unbeaten games.
Despite a bright start for the hosts, Bayern started to exert themselves on the game and went ahead through Mario Mandzukic's overhead kick.
In the second half Bayern remained patient and eventually wrapped up the points through Arjen Robben's stoppage-time second.

Hello and thanks for joining us tonight for this Bundesliga clash as runaway leaders Bayern Munich travel to Wolfsburg.
I'll get straight in with the team news.
BAYERN XI: Neuer; Lahm, van Buyten, Dante, Alaba; Gustavo, Schweinsteiger; Muller, Kroos, Ribery; Mandzukic
Bayern subs: Tymoshchuk, Shaqiri, Gomez, Boateng, Starke, Rafinha, Robben
WOLFSBURG XI: Benaglio; Hasebe, Naldo, Madlung, Schafer; Polak, Trasch; Olic, Diego, Vierinha; Dost
A number of big names only make the Bayern bench. Mario Mandzukic still keeps out Mario Gomez and there is only a sub spot for Arjen Robben, Jerome Boateng and Rafinha.
It's a typically attacking lineup from Jupp Heynckes's opposite number Dieter Hecking, who did promise that his side would go out and attack the leaders.
For his side Wolfsburg, Bas Dost starts as the lone striker with the attacking trio of Ivica Olic, Vieirinha and Diego in behind. The less than full-strength Bayern defence will have to be very alert.
A little over 10 minutes to go until kickoff, so I'm going to take a look at the last-minute odds. Something tells me you'll get good money to back Wolfsburg...
Sure enough, you'll get 7/1 for your money if you want a punt on the hosts - they're even as long as 8s in some places.
Around 2/5 is the best you're likely to get if you're backing Bayern tonight. Not much value in it for me, it's not a foregone conclusion I don't think...
Which brings me around to my prediction. For all my claiming Bayern aren't guaranteed this win, I can't look beyond them. I fancy a 3-1 win for Pep Guardiola's future charges.
The players are coming out on to the pitch, not long now until kickoff!
It looks exceptionally cold out there in Wolfsburg... Bayern will kick off.
Off we go! Bayern, naturally, in red and Wolfsburg in green.
Bayern have started with some early possession, while Wolfsburg are being a bit wasteful with the ball, Naldo only managing to pick out Manuel Neuer.
CHANCE! Oh so close for Thomas Muller! Mandzukic created space on the right for a cross and Muller beat his man but headed down into the ground and wide. He really should have hit the target!
Some good work between Dost and Diego almost sets the former through, but a good high line from Bayern caught the striker offside. A couple of early look-ins here, which is promising.
CHANCE! After a bit of a nervy start Wolfsburg are seeing quite a lot of the ball. Dost there was inches away from connecting with an Olic cross, but Bayern manage to hack it away.
It's still Wolfsburg seeing most of the ball at the moment. They're pressing high and taking the game to the league leaders. Good to see.
Vierinha tries to find his range from distance, but slices an effort wde of the right-hand post. Bayern now passing patiently, probing for an opening that is not there currently.
Every time Munich look to work an attack there are green shirts all over them, trying to win the ball back. It's working a treat at the moment, but can they keep up the tempo?
Schweinsteiger swings in a cross and the Wolfsburg defence let it bounce but Bayern cannot quite get a shot in before it's cleared. It was Mandzukic sniffing around for the snapshot.
Muller this time gets into the box but he cannot control the ball from Ribery's cutback and again the men in green clear. The Wolfsburg pressure has died down a touch now.
Naldo does really well to pip Mandzukic to the ball, before the hosts break. Schafer's cross is too close to Neuer and at the other end Ribery is brought down right on the corner of the box by Hasebe. Danger here.
Kroos swings it in and the ball is cleared, but it comes back into the box and Mandzukic swings wildly from an angle well high and wide.
Alexander Madlung is sold short by Christian Trasch and Mandzukic almost sneaks in, but Diego Benaglio is off his line well to sweep clear. You do not need to make passes like that against Bayern!
YELLOW CARD! Madlung goes into the book for a foul on Mandzukic, who is spending a lot of time on the right flank. He cut in there and was chopped down, a fair booking.
Credit has to go to Wolfsburg for forcing Bayern back to Neuer on a number of occasions. Bayern are used to the possession, but it is usually much higher up the pitch than deep in their own half. They are still struggling for space.
Trasch is penalised somewhat harshly for a foul on Kroos. From it Ribery cuts into the box but Hasebe does well to deal with the threat and Benaglio collects.
Olic gets space in behind Phillip Lahm for about the third time tonight. Again, though, his cross cannot pick out a teammate - that time only Dost was in the box. At the other end Naldo slides in well on Kroos in his own box to win the ball.
Ribery and Muller combine, before Alaba crosses deep to Muller, but it's kicked off his head by Madlung; good defending.
Hasebe beats Ribery in the air from a deep Schweinsteiger cross and it goes out for the first corner of the game. Nothing comes from it for Bayern.
Diego is brought down but Wolfsburg play on down the right through Hasebe, who tries an ambitious cross from deep but it clears the crossbar with Dost waiting.
YELLOW CARD! Diego again brought down, this time by Mandzukic who escapes a booking. From the free-kick Bayern break and Vierinha chops down Ribery before going into the book. Poor challenge.
GOAL! Wolfsburg 0-1 Bayern (Mandzukic)
Wow, what a goal! Kroos takes the free kick, which is nodded back by Muller, and acrobatically turned into the net by Mandzukic with an overhead kick. He refuses to celebrate against his old club, even after a goal like that!
That is also why the prolific Gomez is being kept out of the Bayern side. He's not been in the game much, Mandzukic, but what a moment of genius.
Wolfsburg do have a lack of goals at the best of times, and now it's a huge ask for them to get back in it. They've been good, for sure, but haven't tested Neuer yet.
They've worked a corner here, with Vierinha's cross blocked by Alaba.
Jan Polak rises highest in the box but his header goes about four times the height of the goal.
A minute to be added on as this heads towards the break quite slowly.
YELLOW CARD! Another booking for the hosts, this time Dost. He went up with Van Buyten and is somewhat unlucky to be booked there.
HALF-TIME: Wolfsburg 0-1 Bayern
It was a very good start to the half, with both sides passing well and Wolfsburg playing at a high tempo. However after about 25 minutes Bayern got on top and eventually went ahead through Mandzukic's fine overhead kick.
Despite being impressive and well-drilled, Wolfsburg haven't really created a genuine chance. Olic has had some joy down the left flank, but all too often there has been only Dost in the box looking to score. They need to score now or they will lose.
Apart from the goal Bayern didn't create an awful lot either, but they were constantly threatening through the pace of Ribery and the late runs of Muller.
We're almost ready for the second half now. I don't expect any substitutions just yet but I do if the score stays the same around about 60 minutes.
The second half is underway. Can Wolfsburg respond early?
Bayern are doing all of the early pressing in this half, and they win a corner off Hasebe from Alaba's attempted cross.
CHANCE! Sleek passing in the middle between Ribery and Kroos sees the latter pick out Lahm in acres inside the box. He cuts back to Muller but Naldo blocks and Wolfsburg clear. Big chance that.
Vierinha has a shot blocked from the corner of the box, before Wolfsburg pass it around nicely. It goes back to Vierinha who shoots wildly this time and it goes well over the bar.
You can see why Bayern have conceded just seven goals in the league this season. There's no way through!
Their record away from home is incredible. Ten wins, one draw, 26 goals scored and one conceded. Just unstoppable, as Lahm is brought down by Olic, who probably should have been booked for that lunge.
CHANCE! Really good block there from Madlung. Muller had worked space in the box to shoot on his right, but Madlung lunged and got a solid foot on it. It seems only a matter of time now before Bayern get a second.
YELLOW CARD! Ribery goes into the book for a falling tackle from behind. His studs were showing; there wasn't a lot of contact but a fair yellow. Bayern's first of the game.
Wolfsburg are resorting to shots from distance now, instead of trying to work space in the box which just isn't there. Polak fires well wide from 25 yards, no danger.
Olic looks to have made some room, but he is then crowded out and Bayern break through Kroos. Eventually Naldo defends, but then Muller is brought down by Schafer and the pressure remains.
Mandzukic is fortunate not to be booked for clattering Schafer late after a clearance.
WOLFSBURG SUBSTITUTION: One of their liveliest players on the night, Olic, comes off for Ivan Perisic.
A definite lull has crept into this one now. Both sides are passing among their defences before any sign of an attack is cut out. To be fair to Bayern, they don't need to force the issue so this pace suits them.
It's almost as if Wolfsburg are happy to settle for just losing 1-0 to this great Bayern team. Having said that, they pressure Dante and Alaba up the pitch with Vierinha eventually giving away a goal kick.
Diego and Polak combine well to set up Schafer for a left-wing cross, but again Dost misses out in the box. This time Dante gets up to head clear.
YELLOW CARD! Hasebe is booked for a late, cynical trip on Ribery who had broken clear of him. No arguments there for the Japanese.
Another Wolves attack breaks down as Vierinha looks to break clear. The wall of red shirts is daunting for the hosts to break down and I can't see them scoring in another 90 minutes today.
WOLFSBURG SUBSTITUTION: Patrick Helmes comes on for Vierinha and Fagner is on for Trasch.
YELLOW CARD! Dante the latest to be booked, with a foul on Dost. He went up too strongly for the header.
Naldo is sizing this up from about 25 yards...
CHANCE! It was Diego in the end, who went for the curler, but Neuer was equal to it. It wasn't right in the corner and was comfortable really for the German number one.
BAYERN SUBS: Ribery comes off for Arjen Robben. Kroos is withdrawn and Anatoly Tymoshchuk comes on for him.
YELLOW CARD! Naldo becomes the fifth Wolfsburg player and the eighth overall to be shown a yellow card. Some of these are unnecessary, but the referee has now set a precedent. He's been too picky.
The game is quite scrappy now, as Hasebe gives away another free kick for jumping with an elbow into Kroos. No second yellow, though.
BAYERN SUB: Mario Gomez comes on for Mandzukic.
Fagner does well on the right hand side to win a corner off Alaba. Can the hosts muster something late on?
A lot of the players are now playing up to how fussy the referee is. Robben this time wins a free kick for barely anything.
It is entirely in Bayern's hands now this one. They have no need to overexert themselves and they can wait for gaps to open. Although in truth, none are opening as the Wolves are barely attacking. They win a corner, however, off Dante's header.
Neuer gets a great punch on a deep Schafer cross after he was picked out by Diego.
Still Bayern are passing patiently, waiting for the opening. It does come to Muller, but he instead passes to Robben at the penalty spot but he loses out. There will be three minutes of time added on.
GOAL! Wolfsburg 0-2 Bayern (Robben)
Patience is a virtue for the visitors. Muller dinks over the top to Robben, who is unmarked in the box and he hammers past Benaglio. A good goal and the points are finally wrapped up.
FULL-TIME: Wolfsburg 0-2 Bayern
Well, in the end it was all too comfortable for the runaway league leaders. Their defence and holding midfield two was impenetrable and they remained patient to wrap up the points late on.
Thanks for joining me tonight for this one, and be sure to stay tuned for the reaction to all of tonight's games. Goodbye.
