Manuel Neuer and Robert Lewandowski are among the first-team players who did not make the squad against Atletico, while Thomas Muller was brought on in the second half and snatched a point from the penalty spot.
Bayern possess a very strong squad, though, meaning that Douglas Costa and Serge Gnabry could be brought in for Kingsley Coman and Leroy Sane from the 3-3 draw against RB Leipzig at the weekend.
David Alaba is another established name in line to feature at the back, while Leon Goretzka may anchor midfield in the absence of Javi Martinez, who has been ruled out for the "foreseeable future".
Bright Arrey-Mbi made his debut in the draw at the Wanda Metropolitano, becoming the club's youngest European starter, and will hope to earn another start.
Elsewhere, Marc Roca is back from suspension and will be looking to add to his previous start in the competition against RB Leipzig.
