While there is little riding on the outcome of this Wednesday night fixture for Bayern Munich, the same cannot be said for visiting CSKA Moscow.
Despite being third in Group E, the Russians still have a chance of qualifying - along with group winners Bayern - for the knockout stages of the Champions League.
For that to happen, Leonid Slutsky's men must win for the first time in their history on German soil, as well as hoping that the group's other fixture between Roma and Manchester City at the Stadio Olimpico ends in a draw, or a victory for the Premier League side.
As far as team selection is concerned, Slutsky will be without midfielder Rasmus Elm because of a stomach problem, but aside from the Swede's absence, the head coach will have a fully fit squad to select from in the Allianz Arena.
On the other hand, Bayern boss Pep Guardiola has a number of players unavailable. Philipp Lahm, Javi Martinez, David Alaba, Thiago and Claudio Pizarro have all been ruled out with injuries, while centre-back Medhi Benatia will miss out through suspension.
German champions Bayern have won all three of the previous meetings between these two sides, including a 1-0 victory courtesy of a Thomas Muller penalty on matchday two.
