Alphonso Davies was subbed off after just three minutes of Bayern's 5-0 victory over Eintracht Frankfurt on October 24 and was confirmed to have suffered a torn ankle ligament. The Canada left-back is expected to be ready for first-team action again in early December.

Corentin Tolisso withdrew from the French national team squad on November 15, with France manager Didier Deschamps later confirming that it was only a "slight problem" and "nothing serious," so the midfielder should be ready to replace Kimmich in the first XI against Bremen.
