Thomas Tuchel has reportedly entered the mix for the vacant managerial position at Bayern Munich.
On Thursday afternoon, the Bundesliga champions announced that they had parted company with Carlo Ancelotti after a poor start to the season on both the domestic and European fronts.
Hoffenheim boss Julian Nagelsmann emerged as the early favourite for the role but according to Bild, Tuchel has already held discussions with Bayern's hierarchy.
Tuchel has been out of work since May after his 108-game spell at Borussia Dortmund came to an end following just two years in charge at the club.
The 44-year-old has allegedly rejected the opportunity to talk to West Ham United, with the Hammers currently struggling towards the bottom of the Premier League table.
