Bayern Munich manager Pep Guardiola has insisted that he understands the pressure placed on every match at the Allianz Arena.
Last season's treble winners began the defence of their German Cup title last night, with Thomas Muller netting a hat-trick in a 5-0 victory over BSV Rehden.
Guardiola believes there is plenty of room for improvement at Bayern, while accepting every decision he makes in Bavaria will come under intense scrutiny.
He is quoted by Goal.com as saying: "Cup ties are always dangerous. Four Bundesliga clubs were knocked out yesterday.
"I'm aware of which club I've joined, we have to win every match, but that's normal. People always want more.
"I accept the pressure. We've only been together seven weeks so we still have to improve a lot."
The Spaniard now has three days to prepare for Bayern's opening Bundesliga fixture, which comes at home to Borussia Monchengladbach on Friday evening.
