Robert Lewandowski has expressed his happiness at the way that Bayern Munich played during their 3-0 win over Eintracht Frankfurt yesterday afternoon.
The game at the Allianz Arena came just three days after Bayern had played for 120 minutes against Bayer Leverkusen in the DFB-Pokal.
However, they still swept aside Frankfurt, thanks in part to two goals from Polish striker Lewandowski.
"We knew it wouldn't be easy. It's always tough after a 120-minute cup tie and with only two days to recover, but we still played very well, except maybe for the first few minutes of the second half," he told the club's official website.
"It was in the bag after the second goal and we started playing our football. We could have scored more, but we're happy."
The victory has seen Bayern open up a 10-point lead at the top of the Bundesliga standings.
