Franck Ribery has admitted that he is still haunted by the manner of Bayern Munich's defeat to Chelsea in the Champions League final.
His side were minutes away from beating Chelsea before a Didier Drogba equaliser took the match into extra time, with Chelsea going on to win the match in a penalty shootout.
Ribery told Bild: "The Champions League final was brutal. It was too much for my head. Never in our lives should we have lost that game.
"We played great and we were winning with a few minutes remaining. Then we conceded a late goal and went on to lose that penalty shootout. I will forget that for as long as I live."
Ribery was speaking ahead of the German Super Cup match with Borussia Dortmund.
