Bayern Munich have secured a ninth win in 12 games as Pep Guardiola's side cruised to a 4-0 victory over Hoffenheim at the Allianz Arena.
The hosts dominated possession from the first whistle, but were given an early scare when Hoffenheim forward Anthony Modeste sent a free header just wide of the post.
Pep Guardiola's side would quickly take control following an early lapse of concentration, with Oliver Baumann making good saves to deny both Thomas Muller and Robert Lewandowski.
However, Baumann could only watch and admire Bayern's opening goal midway through the first half when Mario Gotze broke the deadlock with a stunning strike from 25 yards.
The hosts doubled their advantage before the interval when Arjen Robben used the space on offer to deliver the perfect cross for Lewandowski, who added the finishing touch with a fine header.
Despite starting the second half brightly, Hoffenheim were soon on the back foot again as Baumann prevented the visitors from falling further behind by pushing Lewandowski's latest effort past the post.
A rare venture forward from the visitors threatened to set up a dramatic finish when Kevin Volland fired a shot towards the top corner, but Manuel Neuer reacted impressively to tip the ball over the crossbar.
Neuer made another vital contribution late in the game to deny Adam Szalai after the Hungarian forward had sprinted clear of the Bayern defence.
Bayern wrapped up the win in style late on when Robben collected Lewandowski's clever pass before making it 3-0 with a chipped finish.
There was still time for a fourth goal as Bastian Schweinsteiger, making his first appearance of the season, picked out fellow substitute Sebastian Rode, who drilled home from close range.
