Bayern Munich have suffered their second-successive loss in the Bundesliga having been defeated 3-0 at home to Borussia Dortmund.
Dortmund were 1-0 up inside 20 minutes when Henrikh Mkhitaryan fired home after being played in by Marco Reus.
The hosts could have levelled before half time through Mario Mandzukic, but Roman Weidenfeller pulled off a fine save to deny the striker.
The missed opportunity would prove costly shortly after the restart when Jurgen Klopp's charges doubled their advantage, with Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang feeding the ball to Reus, who tapped home into an empty net to make it 2-0.
The third came before the hour mark courtesy of Jonas Hofman, whose close-range strike into the top of the net left replacement keeper Lukas Raeder with no chance.
Mandzukic had another opportunity to get his side on the scoresheet, but he again failed to convert, while Rafinha's red card in the closing minutes rounded off a bad evening for the Bundesliga champions.
