Bayern Munich head coach Pep Guardiola has once again shuffled his pack, with Claudio Pizarro chosen over Mario Mandzukic to lead the line for the champions' trip to bottom side Eintracht Braunschweig.
It is a very strong midfield in behind Pizarro, with an attacking three of Mario Gotze, Arjen Robben and Franck Ribery, while there is also a rare start for third-choice goalkeeper Lukas Raeder.
For Braunschweig, head coach Torsten Lieberknecht has made extra room in midfield by selecting only Havard Nielsen up front, with Norman Theuerkauf in the holding role.
Braunschweig: Davari; Kratz, Henn, Dogan, Reichel; Elabdellaoui, Theuerkauf, Boland, Kruppke, Hochscheidt; Nielsen
Bayern: Raeder; Lahm, Dante, Boateng, Martinez, Hojbjerg; Schweinsteiger; Robben, Gotze, Ribery, Pizarro
