The agent of Mario Gomez has insisted that there have been no talks between the Bayern Munich striker and Napoli over a summer move.
It was reported on Monday that the German international was close to signing a three-year contract with the Serie A club.
"We have never been discussing a transfer with Napoli," Uli Ferber told Stuttgarter Zeitung. "I am going to sort out the future of Mario Gomez in the next couple of days."
Gomez has three years left on his current deal with the German and European champions.
