Besiktas and Club Brugge are playing out a goalless draw in this evening's Europa League last-16 second leg at the Ataturk Olympic Stadium.
The first concrete chance of the game fell to the hosts in the seventh minute as Veli Kavlak collected a Ramon Motta pass before firing a shot towards goal that keeper Matt Ryan saved.
Brugge pushed forward in the 12th minute through Jose Izquierdo, who forced a stop from Tolga Zengin, but the Black Eagles countered moments later with Gokhan Tore.
A quiet spell then occurred as a series of fouls broke up play before Laurens De Bock's cross was headed just wide by Tom De Sutter midway through the first half.
Neither side was able to break the deadlock come the half-time whistle as the tie remains weighted towards the Belgians, who lead 2-1 from the first leg.
