Blackburn Rovers have seen off Bristol City in the third round of the FA Cup.
Blackburn started with some good possession in the opening 10 minutes, but were unable to create any real early chances.
That was until the 13th minute when they took the lead through a strike from range by Murphy, although Tom Heaton could have done better to keep it out.
Ryan Taylor had a chance to level with the last chance of the half, but his header was tipped over by Blackburn goalkeeper Jake Kean.
Ten minutes into the second half it was 2-0 to Rovers, Hanley latching onto a loose ball to drive home low.
City were unable to get themselves back in the game and Rovers held on for a somewhat comfortable win.
