Blackburn Rovers are 2-1 up against Bolton Wanderers at the break in the Championship.
The hosts started brightly, as Josh King beat three players on the left but saw his cross blocked for a corner, before Scott Dann hooked the ball wide after a long throw.
David Ngog released Jermaine Beckford moments later, but his tame shot was easily gathered by the goalkeeper.
Then midway through the half, Blackburn made their pressure tell in emphatic style. An excellent move on the left saw King burst free again and find David Dunn, who skipped past two challenges and fired in.
A minute later it was 2-0. Dunn played the ball to the edge of the box, where Jordan Rhodes wriggled free and curled the ball into the corner.
They went close once more shortly after, but Ben Marshall saw his shot tipped on to the post by the goalkeeper.
Bolton then gave themselves a lifeline on the stroke of half time, with Alex Baptiste firing in after finding space inside the box.
