Under-fire Blackburn boss Steve Kean has revealed that he met with one of the protest organisers ahead of his team’s 4-3 victory over Arsenal.
Around 300 to 400 fans turned up before the match to protest over Kean’s management of the club, but Kean revealed that he thought the number would be more.
"I think it was going to be a couple of thousand so I did an interview with one of the organisers at the training ground," he said.
"I’ve got no problem with meeting fans and taking their questions. I think that went a long way to changing the numbers."
The Rovers manager has previously said that he has the full backing of the Blackburn ownership, and yesterday co-owner Venkatesh Rao confirmed that he never doubted Kean.
