Steve Kean has revealed that the Blackburn Rovers hierarchy have given the Scot their full support despite fans' attempts to overthrow him as manager.
A section of Rovers supporters will stage a protest march on Saturday ahead of Blackburn’s Premier League clash with Arsenal at Ewood Park.
Despite the concern from fans, club owners Venky’s have stood by the 43-year-old and urged supporters to back the team, who have yet to win a match this season.
"The owners gave me their full backing and said, 'If there is going to be a demonstration, don't worry, we're fully behind you'," BBC Sport quotes Kean as saying. "They backed me like they always have.
"There is nobody more frustrated then myself and the players. Ewood is always a daunting place for any team to come and we just need the fans to stick with us and give us their backing.”
Approximately 1,000 fans are expected to join the march this weekend.
