Blackburn Rovers global advisor Shebby Singh has revealed that he is "sad" after Henning Berg was sacked as the club's manager.
Berg was dismissed on Thursday after just 10 games in charge at Ewood Park but Singh has insisted that he does not regret installing the Norwegian as boss at the end of October.
Singh told Sky Sports News: "I have to be strong for the club. Sometimes you make the right decisions but things don't work for you.
"I don't regret getting Henning here, my only regret is that it didn't work out the way we would have liked it to.
"I'm very sad, but this is football, the club is more important than me, more important than Henning."
Berg leaves Blackburn with the club in 17th place in the Championship table.
