There's less than a week left of the Championship season after the penultimate round of games over the weekend.

All that's left to be decided in Saturday's last matches are the final playoff standings and the third team to be relegated.

Yeovil Town and Barnsley were confirmed as down as they both fell to defeats this weekend at Brighton & Hove Albion and Middlesbrough respectively.

Derby County ensured third place with victory over Watford, while Queens Park Rangers are also guaranteed to play the second leg of their playoff semi-final at home despite drawing to Millwall.

Matt Gilks (Blackpool)
An unexpected win for the Tangerines on Saturday as they edged closer to safety and kept a clean sheet at playoff-chasing Wigan Athletic. It could have been ever so different if Gilks hadn't sprung to his left to beat out Martyn Waghorn's first-half penalty.

Simon Francis (Bournemouth)
Perhaps Bournemouth's best player this season, Francis put in another fine display at right-back on Saturday as Nottingham Forest were put to the sword. He set up the first by charging down the wing and crossing for Yann Kermorgant to score.
Wes Morgan (Leicester City)
Leicester skipper Morgan was named in the Championship's PFA Team of the Year last night and on Saturday scored Leicester's second goal against Huddersfield Town as the champions moved within a draw of the 100-point mark.
Jason Shackell (Burnley)
Morgan's partner in the season's best XI is Burnley captain Shackell, who helped Burnley to their 19th clean sheet of the season as they ended Ipswich Town's playoff hopes on Saturday lunchtime.
Scott Malone (Millwall)
If Millwall manage to stay up on the final day of the season, they might just have Malone to thank after he scored an injury-time equaliser against QPR on Saturday.

Lee Chung-Yong (Bolton Wanderers)
Bolton convincingly beat Sheffield Wednesday on Saturday and had Lee to thank for a strong drive and finish for the second goal.
Jeff Hendrick (Derby)
Hendrick is making a case to start in the playoffs after some strong recent displays. On Saturday against Watford he scored two of Derby's goals.
Tom Cairney (Blackburn Rovers)
Blackburn still have an outside chance of clinching a playoff place thanks to their 3-1 win at Charlton Athletic. Cairney wrapped up the win with a neat finish for the third.
Jesse Lingard (Brighton)
Brighton are still in the hunt for a playoff place after relegating Yeovil on Friday night. Manchester United loanee Lingard scored the Seagulls' second.

Pavel Pogrebnyak (Reading)
Reading are the team above Brighton in the table and have Pogrebnyak to thank for beating Doncaster Rovers on Saturday. The Russian scored a late brace to ensure that Reading go into the last game of the season with a playoff place in their hands.
Andy Keogh (Blackpool)
Blackpool busted many a coupon on Saturday and Keogh played a big part in doing so. After heading into the bottom corner to put the Seasiders ahead, the former Wolves man set up Stephen Dobbie for the second.

Numpty of the Week

Robert Green: Consistent for much of the season between the sticks for QPR, Green was at fault for Malone's late equaliser as he flapped at the ball at palmed it into the net instead of away from goal.

Joe Mattock (Sheffield Wednesday) vs. Bolton: The two best goals came at Hillsborough, with Mattock just getting the nod over Liam Trotter's volley with his first-time rasper into the top corner. Check out both goals below.
