Palermo won their first away game for 10 months with a 3-1 victory over Bologna in Serie A this afternoon.
Chances were few and far between in the first half, and it wasn't until five minutes into the second that the deadlock was broken courtesy of Bologna's Frederik Sorensen.
Palermo were level with 20 minutes left through Massimo Donati after Marco Di Vaio missed a golden opportunity to double the home side's lead.
Abel Hernandez then put the visitors in the lead before they lost Andrea Mantovani to a second yellow card.
Any hopes of a Bologna comeback against the ten men were extinguished soon after, however, as Palermo got their third through an Archimede Morleo own goal.
The result means that move Palermo move up to ninth in the Serie A table, while Bologna drop down to 14th.
