Bologna midfielder Alessandro Diamanti has revealed that he is ready to pen a new deal at the club.
The former West Ham United man has spent the past two years with the Rolombu and is poised to sign a contract extension.
Diamanti admits that he couldn't be any happier at the Stadio Renato Dall'Ara having agreed fresh terms with the club.
"My deal? Everyone wanted the same thing: me, the club, the town," Diamanti told reporters. "It's almost sorted and during the week we will sign the new deal.
"I will bind myself to Bologna for many years.
"Achieving stability with this side is like getting into the Champions League elsewhere."
Bologna lost 3-0 at Napoli on the opening day of the Serie A season on Sunday.
