Bolton manager Owen Coyle has said that the club will hold contract talks with Gary Cahill when he returns from England duty.
The 25-year-old, who is currently preparing for tonight’s clash with Wales at Wembley, was linked with a move away from the Reebok Stadium.
"[A new deal] is for when Gary comes back and the powers that be. I think the owner or the chairman will have a chat with his representatives," commented Coyle.
Cahill’s current deal expires at the end of next season and the player will leave the club on a free if a new contract cannot be agreed.
