Bristol City's campaign for Championship survival is dealt a blow as they go a goal down against Sheffield Wednesday at half time.

Bristol City will have to respond in the second half after going a goal down in the opening 45 minutes against Sheffield Wednesday.

The home side came out firing in all cylinders as they try to clinch survival in the Championship, with Sam Baldock causing trouble to the visitors.

The winger created the best chance for the hosts by crossing the ball into
Steve Davies at the far post, but Miguel Llera made a crucial interception to keep the the scoreline 0-0.

Towards the halfway point of the opening 45 minutes, Davies managed to set himself up for a shot, but his effort soared wide to the left of the target.

Despite a positive start from the home team, the struggling club were dealt a blow when Jermaine Johnson found the back of the net with a shot from inside the penalty box that slid into the bottom right corner.
