Bristol City goalkeeper Dean Gerken has expressed his delight at his performance during his side's 1-0 win over Nottingham Forest this afternoon.
Gerken, who has replaced David James between the sticks for City in recent weeks, made several key saves during the match which helped his side move out of the relegation zone.
"It's a massive result," Gerken told Sky Sports News. "We planned ourselves to get six points this weekend and we're halfway there now, so great result and the lads put in a hell of a shift.
"I haven't had much of a season so far so I mean, yeah. I'm obviously over the moon with the performance and the result.
"But we still have a job to do with four or five more games and we have got to get maximum points from these."
City now sit one point clear of the relegation zone in the Championship.
