Bristol City have signed Tyrone Barnett from Peterborough United on loan until the end of the season.
Despite making 16 league starts and scoring six goals for Posh in the opening half of the campaign, 28-year-old Barnett has been allowed to leave for the 2014 half of the season.
"I'm delighted to have Tyrone on board," Robins manager Steve Cotterill told the club website. "He offers us something different in the striking department.
"We'll have to work on his fitness because he hasn't played too many games recently. I'm sure he'll fit in well with the group because he's a good character."
Barnett heads to Ashton Gate with the Robins in the League One relegation zone.
