Read how Burnley and Blackburn played out a third-straight 1-1 draw between the sides in Saturday lunchtime's Championship match.

Blackburn made the short 14-mile trip up the M65 to face Lancashire neighbours Burnley in Saturday lunchtime's kickoff in the Championship.

The game ended as a third-straight 1-1 draw between the two sides after a frantic final 15 minutes of two goals and a red card.

Read how it all unfolded at Turf Moor in our minute-by-minute updates below.

Morning all! The second Football League match of the weekend is a tasty Lancashire derby between Sean Dyche's Clarets and Gary Bowyer's Rovers. Here come the teams...
BURNLEY XI: Heaton; Trippier, Shackell, Duff, Mee; Arfield, Jones, Marney, Kightly; Vokes, Ings
BLACKBURN XI: Kean; Kane, Dann, Hanley, Spurr; Lowe, Evans, Marshall, Cairney, King; Rhodes
It's one change for Burnley as new loan signing Michael Kightly comes straight in for Keith Treacy while visiting Rovers also make a single change, with Corry Evans replacing the injured David Dunn.
SUBS! And the two benches this afternoon:

BURNLEY: Cisak, Long, Lafferty, Stanislas, Treacy, Stock, Edgar
BLACKBURN: Eastwood, Kilgallon, Williamson, Taylor, Marrow, Morris, Judge

Let's hope today's game isn't marred by any crowd trouble. Both clubs issued a statement earlier this week calling for a peaceful affair. Read more.
Dunn's absence could be a big loss for Bowyer and Rovers. He was instrumental last time out as Blackburn trounced Bolton in another Lancashire clash. More on the veteran midfielder's knee problem here.
REFEREE WATCH! The man in charge today is Craig Pawson. Under 15 minutes until kickoff at a bright Turf Moor.
Both matches between these two sides finished as 1-1 draws last season. Find the recent head-to-head record between the two, as well as form guides and build-up on our homepage for this match here.
PREDICTION TIME! You might expect me to plump for a 1-1 draw then and that is exactly what I'm going to do! I'm not expecting a goalfest and fear that both sides will want to avoid losing as opposed to going all out for three points. Rhodes and Vokes the scorers.
There's also a lunchtime kickoff in the top flight between Manchester United and Crystal Palace. I recommend you right-click this link and open Jack Prescott's commentary in a new tab ;)
Here come the two sides out to a rowdy atmosphere at Turf Moor. Both sides in their home colours of claret and blue and white and blue respectively.
Pre-match handshakes done etc etc. We're ready to begin as Blackburn look to ensure that their 14-mile trip down the M65 is a celebratory one later.
KICKOFF! Pawson blows his whistle for the first time and Rovers get us underway.
Trippier, who has arguably been the best right-back in the league so far this season, floats over a deep cross for the big Vokes who is penalised for impeding Rovers keeper Kean. High tempo start to the game but little of note.
CLOSE! Burnley almost take a freak lead as Kean wallops a backpass straight into Vokes, with the ball cannoning off his body and whizzing a yard or so past the post.
Trippier's full of talent and shows off his set-piece ability by thwacking a 30-yard free kick just over the bar in Cristiano Ronaldo fashion.
Marshall gets in behind the Burnley defence down the right but Marshall's dinked cross doesn't beat the first man and the hosts are able to clear. First real threat from Rovers.
First meaty challenge comes as Lowe crashes into Ings after King overhit a pass. Ref Pawson could have brought out a card but only gives him a ticking off.
JUST OVER! Again Trippier is at the heart of the play as he is played in down the right and drills a low cross towards the near-post that Rovers left-back Spurr inadvertently directs into the ground and then just over the crossbar.
First prolonged spell of possession from Blackburn is a patient one that comes to an end when Evans's ball over the top for Marshall bobbles harmlessly out for a goal kick.
DOUBLE SAVE! Kean is tested twice as Arfield speculatively shoots low from 20 yards, with Kean only able to push the ball out to Ings, whose powerful volley is beaten out by the young stopper.
Ings dances past one then another man on the edge of the Rovers area before his cutback is just kept away from Arfield by Dann's big toe. Burnley definitely looking more threatening at the moment.
However, with King Blackburn have pace on the counter and the Norwegian international beats Trippier to the ball before his cross for Rhodes is just taken away from the visitors' top scorer.
Although Burnley do look more threatening, they haven't helped themselves from set pieces, where they've wasted a number of corners with overhit deliveries.
Another dodgy moment in the Blackburn defence as Kightly curls in a cross that Hanley slices wide of his own post, with Ings looking to pounce.
Vokes trips Hanley. It looks like a bit of a nothing challenge but Hanley stays down and gets plenty of boos from the home fans. The Clarets are pressing extremely high and giving Blackburn no time in the ball, even in their own half.
Another 30+ yard free kick for Burnley is dipped goalwards by Trippier. This time it's on target but close enough to Kean, who holds well.
FANTASTIC SAVE! It took 36 minutes, but Heaton is finally worked as Blackburn break through Kane down the right. The Chelsea loanee finds Cairney on the edge of the area who lets the ball run across onto his stronger left foot before curling low for the corner. It's perfectly directed but can't beat Heaton, who makes a fabulous save low to his left.
YELLOW! First card of the game goes to Lowe, who has fouled on several occasions this afternoon.
This shows the bias of clubs' Twitter feeds, @OneRovers: "Rhodes is clotheslined by Duff, referee chooses to ignore it." There was hardly anything in it!
INCHES! Ings opens his body to curl a shot from the edge of the area that misses the target by just a few inches. The Clarets number 10 is so confident at the moment.
ONE minute of added time.
HALF-TIME: BURNLEY 0-0 BLACKBURN
A warm round of applause from Turf Moor after an intense first half where Burnley did look the more threatening of the two sides. However, Cairney's accurate shot that was tipped away by Heaton was perhaps the closest we've come to a goal.
UPDATE: They're midway through the opening half at Old Trafford where it's also goalless between Man Utd and Palace in the Premier League. Although, you already know that because you've been following Jack's updates in another tab like I told you, right?
Looking at the stats, they back up the fact that Burnley have been the better side. The hosts have had seven shots to Rovers's two and 59% of the ball.
You have to say that both sides are probably playing their strongest XIs looking at the two benches. If Dyche was to make a change then Junior Stanislas and Keith Treacy may provide the most danger while Chris Taylor and Alan Judge might do the same for Rovers.
Veteran Blackburn keeper Paul Robinson admits to Sky Sports News that his side were "second-best" in that first half and would have been glad when half time came. The two sides are just coming out for the second half. No subs from either boss by the looks of things.
KICKOFF! Burnley get the second half underway. My prediction of 1-1 still looks good!
Shackell misjudges a long ball forward to allow Rhodes in behind. The number 11 finds King on the left just before being tackled, with the former Manchester United man dilly-dallying on the ball before losing possession. Poor from the Norwegian.
Blackburn again break in numbers as King rides a couple of challenges before Cairney pokes it out to Spurr on the left. His deep cross is headed clear by Trippier but only to Marshall on the edge of the box, whose low shot is blocked before it gets to goal. Frantic start to the second 45.
Again it's Trippier who provides the dangerous cross from the right but Dann is equal to the task and heads clear.
Free kick for Blackburn from a dangerous position left of centre that Marshall fails to get past the first line of Claret defenders.
UPDATE: Manchester United have just earned a penalty against Crystal Palace. Find out if it's scored here.
YELLOW! First Burnley name in the book is Marney for a very late tackle on Dann. Unpleasant.
Duff escapes a booking for tripping up Lowe, who had stolen the ball from Marney. Another free kick to Blackburn left of centre. This time it's Cairney to take...
Mee heads it away before Ings swipes a volley miles from danger.
CONTROVERSY! So far today Pawson has been excellent with his use of advantage. This time he gets it all wrong though by blowing up and booking Duff for a high challenge on Hanley. Had he allowed play to go on, Rhodes was through on goal and probably would have scored. Bowyer and the Blackburn bench are fuming.
Pressure beginning to mount at the Burnley end as Blackburn have a succession of corners that are floated right under the crossbar. Home side holding firm at the moment.
OFF THE BAR! Another Blackburn corner is deep and headed high into the air by Hanley. Pawson awards another corner even though it appeared just to land on top of the crossbar. The resulting set piece is met by Hanley who should do better from just a few yards out when heading wide.
BURNLEY SUB: Kightly hasn't been very impressive on debut and is rightly taken off by Dyche, with Stanislas on in his place.
Into the final 20 minutes we go and, as I anticipated, it's been a low-scoring affair. Bowyer is yet to make a change but must be thinking about a substitution to freshen things up.
Free kick to Blackburn on the left corner of the area as King is upended by Arfield...
HELD! Marshall's free kick gets up and over the wall but isn't powerful enough to beat Marshall to the near corner.
GOAL! BURNLEY 1-0 BLACKBURN (STANISLAS)
Wow, what a stunning goal from the one and only sub of the day! He exchanges a quick one-two with Ings on the edge of the area before arrowing in a left-foot strike into the bottom corner that Kean can do nothing about. Sublime strike.
BLACKBURN SUBS: As expected, Taylor and Judge are the two to come on, with Lowe and Marshall taken off.
As it stands, Burnley are going top of the table!
YELLOW! Easy decision for Pawson to book Mee as he clatters into Taylor's fresh legs.
GOAL! BURNLEY 1-1 BLACKBURN (RHODES)
Change that to a Rhodes goal, not a Duff OG. It's a calamitous goal all round as Arfield plays a careless back-pass that Rhodes intercepts. The number 11 oddly doesn't shoot first time, instead cutting back onto his right foot before Duff comes back to make a challenge, with his clearance hitting Rhodes's leg and looping over Heaton into the net. Crazy, crazy goal.
"You're not singing, you're not singing, YOU'RE NOT SINGING ANYMORE!" chant the Blackburn fans. This game really is anyone's for the taking now, Blackburn definitely looking more threatening.
BLACKBURN SUB: Bowyer with one last throw of the dice as Lee Williamson comes on for Evans, with FIVE minutes of added time being signalled straight after.
RED CARD! (WILLIAMSON, BLACKBURN)
Williamson sacrifices himself as he is sent off after one minute and 45 seconds on the pitch. Blackburn were looking so dangerous but Burnley's clearance would have sent Ings completely free on goal had Williamson not tugged him down as the last man. Clear red card.
FULL-TIME: BURNLEY 1-1 BLACKBURN
After a gritty first 75 minutes, that was a nutty final quarter of an hour. Ultimately it ends 1-1, as I predicted.
A point apiece sees Blackburn move up a couple of places to ninth while Burnley remain third, moving to within a couple of points of the summit. Click here for full table.
That's all we've got time for as an extremely busy Saturday in the Premier League and Football League begins to boil up. Make sure you keep it Sports Mole for everything you could want all afternoon!
