Burnley have won their appeal to have Michael Duff's red card against West Ham United rescinded.
The defender was sent off during his side's 1-0 defeat on Saturday when he fouled Cheikhou Kouyate inside the box, leading to Mark Noble's decisive penalty.
However, following an appeal by Burnley, the Football Association has announced that he will not have to serve a one-match ban for the incident.
"An Independent Regulatory Commission has today upheld a claim of wrongful dismissal in relation to Michael Duff," read a statement on the FA's website. "Therefore, his one-match suspension has been withdrawn with immediate effect."
Burnley continue their fight for Premier League survival this Saturday when they travel to fellow strugglers Hull City.
