Burnley are being linked with a surprise move for AC Milan striker Giampaolo Pazzini in the next transfer window.
Reports in Italy claim that contact between the two clubs has been made ahead of a potential January move.
The Italian forward has failed to make an impact under Filippo Inzaghi this season and will reportedly be shown the door, with the newly-promoted Premier League side sending an offer to the Rossoneri on Saturday, according to La Gazzetta dello Sport.
The 30-year-old has made just five substitute appearances in Serie A this season, with his wife making headlines after criticising Inzaghi on Instagram.
Pazzini, who joined Milan in a swap deal from Parma, has also been linked with Sampdoria and Fiorentina recently.
