AC Milan moved to the top of Serie A after securing a 2-0 victory in Sardinia this evening.
An own goal from Francesco Pisano and a sharp finish from Zlatan Ibrahimovic gave the Rossoneri all three points.
The opening goal came after just four minutes when Brazilian trickster Robinho broke clear down the right and rounded Cagliari keeper Michael Agazzi before his centre was scuffed into his own net by Pisano.
The home side then threatened and forced Christian Abbiati into making some first-half saves.
Massimiliano Allegri's side sealed the points on the hour when Swedish forward Ibrahimovic collected Robinho's header and clipped the ball cleverly over Agazzi from a tight angle.
Juventus can reclaim top spot when they travel to fellow high-flyers Udinese tomorrow evening.
